not cheap but chic!

Bakelite is a fantastic material invented in 1909 by the Belgian Leo H. Baekeland. It had many uses, including the manufacture of costume jewellery. It was used from the 1920s until the early 1950s to make all kind of things like, telephones, radios, kitchen tools, poker chips, buttons and, of course, costume jewellery. It is not a cheap material but it is really worth it!look at these fantastic jewels, purses and radios!

I love these, especially the bow! I have a wonderful bakelite necklace, bracelet and matching earrings that I cherish. Wonderful picks!
